New branch is opened

This is after a long time…As I was quite busy with of new job…

“Engalukku veru engum kilhaikal kidaiyaathu” is not true in my case. I have opened a new blog thought to have some thamizh stuff.
http://vegisoup.blogspot.com/

I could have just posted a few happenings like “Sri rama nama ganaamrutham 2007”, Shakthi Super Star, my new job and new friends, Actuarial Exams, New Home….
But none that happened except, thought of having a thamizh blog… in the middle.

So I thought to share only the best in the best way…

To Start,
1. http://www.desikan.com/ for those who love writings from ‘Sujatha’ Rangarajan.
2. http://www.kirukkal.com/, a personal web site of Suppudu alias Guru Subramaniam.
These are in purely in thamizh. I think it’s enough boring with all the parpaniya/anti-parpaniya blogs.

So catch you soon with an article(he he he hope you excuse me)…try to keep it in both thamizh and english.

Six word Story

I was reading one of the "Kattrathum Petrathum" one of my favourites of Sujatha, yesterday night, and wondered that a man wrote shortest story with 6 words.

Ernest Hemingway, was challenged once to compose a complete story in six words. His answer, personally felt to be his best prose ever, was "For sale: baby shoes, never used."

That reminded me of something I once read - I forget where. The shortest sci-fi story ever: "The last man on Earth sits in his house. There is a knock at the door."

Sujatha re-states the same with some correction, which adds more horrific appeal to it,
"The last man on Earth sits in his room. The door is locked once from outside"

And found some more interesting 6-word-short-stories, may look like mini-haiku...

That's Valentine's day!!!

Definitely ithu suttathu....but i couldn't help my mind. This is superb.

An earthworm found
next to him a pretty face
He exclaimed,
“I am smitten, I must confess
Can I make you mine?
Will
you be my valentine?”
She looked at him
And thundered-

IDIOT! I am your other end!

Really good isn't it?

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall” - CONFUCIUS

This is what appears on my table, my yahoo messenger & Google Talk.
This is Something i really loved to see everyday....and thats what I’ve found out of late.. strength blossoms after every failures, but hey, it doesnt do itself.. There are two choices after each failure.. you throw your ideologies on the failure and use it as a reason to lose, or you learn what lead to the failure and correct it, know more about life, and grow positive..I always thought God let me down, but looking back, I’ve learnt from the mistakes and become a better person. Love, friendships, work, study, there were difficulties in everything and in everybody's Life, but a little faith and true prayer did and will save us from failing!

"When doubts haunt me, when disappointments stare me in the face, and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to Bhagavad-gita and find a verse to comfort me; and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow"- Mahathma Gandhi
